Ded Serious: Craft Coffins from The Coffin Lady

Madison, Mississippi-- 06/12/05

Ded Mann Inc. (DMI), a web-based corporation, is now selling its popular coffin box to retailers and wholesalers. Thousands of craft coffins are shipped to America, Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand. The coffins are used by individuals and corporations as novelty containers. The pre-decorated finished coffin rounds out the 2005 line, which includes standard brown as well as white.

Ded Mann Inc. growth is attributable to The Coffin Lady. She makes public appearances with craft coffins in hand.  In 2004, events included the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Jackson, MS., The American Heart Associations Boo Bash at the Wildwoods, and A Kid's World in Jackson, MS.  Customized craft coffins were thrown from the float, reminding people not to drink and drive. The craft coffins were the perfect vehicle for this message.  In 2005, The Coffin Lady is slated to appear in New Orleans parades and at the Witches Ball in Salem, MA.

The craft coffin was designed 9 years ago as a mailing device for a niece's Halloween invitations. Halloween and children were the targeted launch point, but product use has evolved into increasingly diverse markets.  Attorneys have used the craft coffin in court cases to convey death statistics to jurors. Clients order them to send invitations to Halloween weddings, mystery dinners and retirement parties.  Retailers ship their products in the craft coffin. "We even put our trick-or-treat candy in them", says Ms. Stevie, owner of Ded Mann, Inc.

4halloweencoffins.com has ranked well on key search engines like Yahoo, Google, and MSN.  The market continues to grow as consumers find new and innovative uses for DMI's popular coffin boxes.  Ded Mann Inc. is committed to a high quality product as well as community service and support of non-profit organizations, says Ms. Stevie. The Coffin Lady is available for appearances at public and private events internationally.

Press Release
Craft Coffins: As Seen On www.HauntedBay.com

September 5, 2006

Every now and then someone has an idea that just makes you want to slap your head and say, "Why didn't I think of THAT!" Stevie Mann aka "The Coffin Lady" over at Ded Mann Inc. had such an idea and the result is, the Craft Coffin.

Craft Coffins are single sheets of heavy duty, die cut, corrugated cardboard that you fold up into classic toe pincher style coffins. They require no cutting, tape, or glue to complete or hold their shape. When folded into their final form they are 9.5" (long) x 4.5" (shoulder) x 2" (deep).

Craft Coffins come either pre-decorated as gothic coffins (with to and from mailing boxes on the bottom) or undecorated in plain brown or white for you to decorate as your own Halloween craft project.

Craft Coffins have dozens of uses. Since they are post office approved mailers they can be used as a memorable way to send letters and party or wedding invitations. They're also a great way of adding special emphasis on those less desirable pieces of mail some of us receive from time to time, termination notices, Dear John letters, or whatever your dark side can dream up.

I always love to get gift bags at parties. Think of how impressed your guests will be to receive not a gift bag but a gift coffin at your next get together. Or you could create special treat coffins to hand out on Halloween for your favorite neighbors.

Craft Coffins are especially appropriate as Halloween decorations. Fold, decorate, and sprinkle them around your home and yard. Use them as props for your suicidal depressed Halloween Barbies, as table centerpieces, candy dishes, anywhere you need a gothic touch.

Need a craft project to keep your children busy or a cool way to keep your guests entertained at your Halloween party, Craft Coffins are the perfect solution.

You could also use them for a more traditional purpose. Craft Coffins are constructed from entirely biodegradable cardboard so there's no reason not to give that much beloved goldfish, hamster, or frog the proper funerary rights it deserves.

The possibilities with Craft Coffins are limited only by your imagination. For more information about Craft Coffins including other great ideas and current pricing visit the Ded Mann Inc. website at 4halloweencoffins.com.
